Speed Racer live-action movie, in theatre 9th, May 2008, only a few months away.So, we'll be seeing a lot of merchandises from this movie. Since ERTL no longer has the license for Speed Racer diecast model as they are quitting the diecast industry (hey, grab the ERTL diecast now, it's retired). Jada Toys is the new owner of the Speed Racer license. . However, there's something that we need to let our customers know. Only Mattel (Hot Wheels) has the merchandise license to the 2008 live-action movie. Jada Toys's Speed Racer diecast are from the TV animation. You can tell by the different logos.
